What it checks

  1. Email posture. SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MX - the records that stop other people from sending mail as you.
  2. Transport. Live TLS checks: certificate validity, expiry, and HTTPS behavior on your domain.
  3. The grade. Everything is summarized in plain English with an overall grade, narrated by on-device intelligence - no jargon dump.
  4. The handoff. Export the snapshot as a PDF and put it in front of whoever runs the domain.

Why it runs on the phone

Most domain scanners are a web form in front of somebody else's server. You hand over the domain you are worried about, and a service you have never audited does the lookup and keeps the result. Parallax Recon inverts that. The DNS and TLS queries leave your device and go to the domain itself, and the answers are read and graded on the phone.

Nothing to deployNo agent on your mail server, no DNS record to add, no read access to anything you own. The app only reads what the internet already publishes about a domain.
Live, not cachedEvery run is a fresh lookup. You are looking at the records as they resolve right now, not at a scan somebody ran last quarter.
Graded on-deviceThe plain-English narration is on-device intelligence. The grade is produced on the phone, from the answers the phone just received.
